You don't need to be an award-winning author or neurosurgeon to be a mentor (although authors and doctors are welcome too!). All it takes is a few extra hours a month and commitment to being a caring adult in a young person's life!
Each mentor/mentee pair meets after school or on weekends to explore new places and share new experiences while building a close and trusting relationship. Monthly group activities are also planned for all mentors/mentees to participate in.
Minimum Mentor Requirements:
-Successful completion of application, background check, interview and training
-Mentor/mentee meet every other weekend or equivalent of 6 hours a month
-Mentor/mentee meet for minimum of one school year
-Willingness to participate in monthly group activities
